If we consider the development level achieved during recent years, a constant analysis of our horse racing industry is essential in order to redesign it for the future.

This is the reason why this Congress was conceived, a meeting of top International horse racing representatives and authorities to exchange and share experiences, issues and efforts, with the purpose of continuing the consolidation of an integrated and strong horse racing industry.

The “1st Congress of the Horse Racing Industry of the Americas” will take place on December 11 and 12, 2008.

The venue for this important event will be the Palacio Duhau, Park Hyatt Buenos Aires Hotel, an emblematic site of the activity in Argentina, located in the traditional district of Recoleta, one of the most elegant and charming areas of the City of Buenos Aires.

The schedule will include plenary conferences with participation of regional and international renowned panelists, who will address several topics related to the relevance of current horse racing industry, its evolution, general overviews and trends both regional and continental, analysis of successful cases, opportunities and potential in the region, challenges for growth, as well as several topics within the universe of this strong and important industry.

Among keynote speakers, the presence of top Governmental and International Associations authorities has been confirmed.

The opening act will include a cocktail on Thursday 11th, an opportunity to meet colleagues and find common interests among leaders in global Horse Racing Industry

LARC, a top company in horse racing broadcasting throughout the region and consultants in the field, with the sponsorship of Jockey Club Argentino and Latin America Jockey Club and Race Tracks Association, invites all stakeholders to participate, with the purpose of creating new boundaries for this industry, integrating it throughout the continent.
